As of 30 April, 1,291 non-traditional trademarks have been filed and 66 registration has been granted so far, comprised 32 sound marks, 28 motion marks, 5 position marks and 1 hologram marks. Distinctiveness is a key for registration. Last year, the trademark registration fees were reduced by about 25% and the renewal fees by about 20%.
